We feel so blessed to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas. This was such a difficult year for everyone all over the world, but to be able to say those words means that we have made it through by God's grace, and we pray that this new year will be full of blessings for everyone.
At Casa Compasiva we have had a busy year. Women and families have turned to options for births out of hospital, fearing COVID infection both prenatally and during birth. We have attended around 500+ prenatal, postpartum, and nutrition appointments this year. We have had double the births since last year, and we have faithfully prayed over and shared Christ with each of these women and families. We have also provided discounts for birthing families who have been struggling financially because of COVID. And we are able to do all of this because of you and your families.
We have many plans for this new year, but if we have learned anything from 2020 it would be that plans can change! However, what always remains constant if God's grace and love for the world. "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) Because of this we constantly look for opportunities to serve Him.
