Casa Compasiva

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday and I humbly ask that you consider donating to Casa Compasiva.  We are an Asociacion Civil (non-profit) and our Benevolent Birth Fund is currently in zeros.  This fund provides free prenatal, birth, postpartum, and/or breastfeeding care for women and babies of low or no economic possibilities. 

For around $500 USD (depending on the exchange rate) we are able to provide 8 prenatal appointments, the birth, and 4 postpartum appointments for women who otherwise would be forced to have their babies in a public hospital, separated from their families, in a shared birthing room with up to 2 other birthing mothers; and more often than not, with threats, reprimands and unethical treatment.
